A lifelong learner and teacher, Dave is a financial services veteran and proven trainer, mentor and coach. For more than 40 years, Dave has led teams and individuals to career success in the insurance and securities industry. Through a changing culture and industry, Dave grew his own career and sought out education, experience and credentials in the fields of management, motivation and results-driven coaching strategies. He holds a B.S. in Management and Organizational Leadership from George Fox University and an MSM in Management and Leadership from the American College, both earned as his now adult daughters were also in school. Dave is a workshop facilitator with the Pacific Institute, a trained Stephen Minister providing one-to-one care for those experiencing trauma and an Elder in the Presbyterian Church (USA) working to develop diverse leadership and adapting to changing needs in our communities.
What started as a love for all things fast, Dave has since traded his private pilot’s license for a wetsuit and road bike and has finished two full Ironman triathlons (at 58 and 60 years old!). Working with motivated career professionals seeking guidance and support in setting and realizing goals for the future is Dave’s source of joy and satisfaction. A Washingtonian for life, Dave coaches from the home he shares with his wife of more than four decades in the rural Pacific Northwest and enjoys time with his four grandkids and their growing fleet of (very) old boats they enjoy on the many lakes of Lewis County. In his most free of times he hits the road on the Harley Lowrider he picked up brand new from the York, PA factory in 1992.
