Transformation Begins With Thinking
What motivates an employee?
What drives their decision-making?
What guides their actions?
What determines their behavior?
The answer is both simple and complex… it’s the way they think.
Why is the answer simple?
Because the connection between thinking and behavior are well established.
Change a person’s thinking, and you will change their actions.
Why is the answer complex?
Because each and every one of us has a unique set of value judgments, guiding our individual ability to determine the rightness or wrongness of a situation. There is no “one size fits all” solution for changing behavior.
What’s the solution?
MindScan™ measures “WHY,” not “HOW.”
If you can understand an individual’s thought processes, then you can create a tailor-made program for changing the way they think, and in turn, the way they act. Clearly, that’s some powerful stuff. And it’s where ProAdvisorCoach’s proprietary MindScan™ assessment comes in.
Unlike most other behavioral assessments, MindScan™ doesn’t measure what individuals think of themselves. The underlying flaw in the most popular and commonly used assessments is they subjectively categorize people by type into a category or bucket of “HOW” they behave. Instead, the MindScan seeks the underlying truth of “WHY” a person behaves the way they do, based on their thinking patterns. Consider this – certain people might behave the exact same way (“HOW”), for completely different reasons (“WHY”); this means changing the behaviors of these two people would call for two completely different approaches.
MindScan can be used for:
- • discovering your strengths and potential weaknesses
- • understanding thinking strengths and potential weaknesses
of your partner(s), associate(s) and potential employee(s)
- • identifying areas where additional training may be needed
- • building work teams and groups
- • measuring individual and group morale and spirit
- • determining suitability for roles, promotions and job reallocations
- • cutting down on training and personnel replacement costs
- • preventing accidents and liabilities
The MindScan™ assessment is designed to objectively measure each person’s thought processes in “3D” (three dimensions):
THE FIRST DIMENSION: Intrinsic Value
- measures of how we value ourselves
- determines our ability to love and be intuitive
THE SECOND DIMENSION: Extrinsic Value
- reflects our economic and social understanding
- measures our capacity for excellence in tasks, projects and processes
THE THIRD DIMENSION: Systemic Value
- reflects the ability to perceive structures, systemsof order, rules of engagement, etc.
- measures capacity for strategic vision, long-range planning, implications and consequences
More powerful than the MindScan™ assessment is the resulting MindScan™ report. Because it literally “shows” the way a person thinks, it provides a clear understanding why an individual is not performing up to par and provides a foundation for developing a detailed plan to achieve more of your potential and be the best you can be.

Based on Nobel-nominated Science
Transformation begins with our thinking. Based on the Nobel-nominated Hartman Value Profile, the MindScan assessment is an axiological inventory that measures a person’s capacity to make value judgments concerning the world and one’s self. Instead of simply understanding “how” a person behaves, it objectively measures “why” a person behaves the way they do, provides the deepest possible understanding of behavior in the workplace and reveals precisely how to align your thinking strengths with your business plan in order to accelerate successes.
