I have been told that I am in the “sleep-restoration business” – helping people deal with those issues that keep them awake at night, be they business or personal issues. People rest easier when they know that these matters are being addressed and that there is a measure of control over them. When we are ill and the doctor does not know what is wrong we panic, but when we know what is wrong we are able to address the next steps meaningfully. Not everything can be fixed immediately, but to be on the right path and making progress on that path is critical. This is true of life and business. This is what I do.
International experience in the IT industry in all three aspects – service provider, systems integrator and corporate customer. The experience in New York was fascinating as I arrived in the Big Apple 6 weeks before 9/11 happened. The tragic event oddly opened up the opportunity to deal with most of the Fortune 100 companies based in New York and to have various levels of interaction with them. In addition, I have run two different companies over the years. I have also been involved in a number of additional organisations and ministries on a team level, leadership level and board level and also been actively involved in marriage counselling.
One of the things that I have to offer is that in many instances “I have been there” and understand what impacts success and failure in the marketplace and in our personal lives and have keen insights into where people are at and the steps required to deal with the circumstances in which we find ourselves.
